A massive fire broke out in the Behrampada-Garibnagar slum area near the eastern side of the suburban Bandra railway station when municipal officials were carrying out an anti-encroachment drive against the slums, a cylinder blast took place in a hut and the fire immediately spread in the slum, in Mumbai on Thursday, 26 October 2017. The fire blaze forced the Western Railway to stop the Harbour Line services between Wadala and Andheri, in both directions.
