Painting on road

A banner pasted on a roadside by Greenpeace activists with a message to the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to ban the bulb and reduce India"s CO2 emission, in New Delhi on Tuesday, 08 January 2008. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on climate change (IPCC) report states that emission must start declining by 2015 to prevent the world temperature from rising more than two degrees centigrade over the pre-industrialized temperatures. Greenpeace calls for a ban on light bulbs, a cause of high carbon emission, to stop climate change and also ask the manufacturer for shifting production in factories from incandescent lamps to CFL.
