Large security has been deployed including paramilitary forces and state police commandoes at the Mao gate on Manipur-Nagaland border check post to prevent the entry of the General Secretary of the underground NSCN (IM) T H Muivah who is planning to visit his native village in Ukhrul district by road passing through Mao gate in Senapati district on Tuesday, 04 May 2010.The state Cabinet has barred the entry of the Naga leader to the state on the plea that it will create communal tension in the state. Union Home Ministry has advised Muivah to defer the visit by couple of days to give time to the Manipur Government to revoke the ban on his entry.
