After Goddess Durga immersed in the river Hoogly, The wooden Structure being dump on the bank of Hooghly river due to water pollution at Babughat in Kolkata, 07 October 2011 at the end of the four day "Sarodia Durga Puja" festival. The five day-long Durga Puja welcomes Goddess Durga, who according to Hindu mythology comes to earth once every year for five days from her heavenly abode. The five day long Durga festival is celebrated in Indian states and culminates in the immersion of the idols of Hindu goddess Durga, who symbolises power and the triumph of good over evil in Hindu mythology
