Dal Lake in Srinagar which froze at the margins as mercury dipped 3.8 degrees Celsius below freezing, in Kashmir valley on Friday December 10, 2010. Temperatures in the valley have gone down in the past two weeks; however, no precipitation has been reported from anywhere in Kashmir in the last two weeks.
