Former encounter specialist Ravindra Angre being taken in custody after his arrest on charges of threatening the kin of a Thane-based builder, who had filed an extortion case against him two years ago, in Thane on Tuesday,15 June 2010. Assistant Inspector Angre, currently under suspension, was produced before a Magistrate"s court in Thane which remanded him to police custody till June 18.
