Haryana grappler Ramesh Kumar, Bronze medal winner at World Wrestling Championship meets Sports Minister MS Gill at his residence in New Delhi on Saturday, 26 September 2009. Ramesh Kumar defeated Alexandr Burca of Moldova in 74 kg category to become the first Indian in 42 years to clinch a freestyle medal at World Wrestling Championship at Herning, Denmark. Vishambhar Singh was the last Indian wrestler who bagged a freestyle silver medal in 1967 World Championship.
