One of the 34 Burmese freedom fighter which was arrested by Indian Intelligence Officer comes out of the police van for the hearing of his case in Kolkatta on Monday,04 February 2008. They have been accused of gun running on behalf of north East Indian insurgents. There was an attempt by the intelligence agencies to create an impression that these Burmese Freedom Fighters are terrorist and the trail should be held inside the jail but the timely intervention of Bengali Intellectuals has open the trail. But the trail has stopped and no judge has been appointed delaying the proceeding against the order of the Supreme Court which has directed that the trail take place on a day to day basis.
