Delhi police restrain a Tibetan activist during a protest in front of the Chinese slogans during a protest in front of China Embassy in New Delhi Monday, 17 March 2008. India pressed neighboring China for a "non-violent" solution to unrest in Tibet, as opposition lawmakers stormed out of parliament saying New Delhi"s response was insufficient. The appeal came as Tibet"s Indian-based prime minister-in-exile said that around 100 people have died in pro-independence unrest in the Chinese-ruled region, while the exiled Tibetan parliament reported hundreds killed.
