BCCI President Sharad Pawar with Indian Twenty-20 Cricket Team Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah at a felicitation ceremony of team India at Wankhede Stadium,Mumbai on Wednesday,26 September 2007. Indian Cricket Team returned home for the first time after defeating Pakistan in the first ever Twenty-20 World Cup Tournament held at Johansberg in South Africa on Monday.The 30 KM long procession of the entire team was carried out in a open deck bus from the Airport to Wankhede Stadium where they all were felicitated by BCCI with huge prize money.
