Activists of People for Animals along with local people staging train blocked protesting against the killing of Elephants by the trains at Deepor Beel Bird Sanctuary area on the outskirts of Guwahati on Monday, May 04, 2009. Forest Department has been continuously requesting the railway authority to limit the speed within 25 km per hour within the sanctuary area.
