Police officials keep vigil at Oberoi mall regarding MNS Chief Raj Thackeray’s power tariff issue in Mumbai on Friday, 28 August 2009. Raj Thackeray demanded that the Maharashtra Energy Regulatory Commission (MERC) should withdraw the power tariff concessions announced for malls, multiplexes and construction sites. He has threatened to stop work at these sites if the MNS demand was not accepted by MERC in the next two days.
