Maharashtra Chief Minster Ashok Chavan, Industries Minister Rajendra Darda and Jochem Heizmann, Member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG with a Polo car, that rolled off the lines at Volkswagen"s factory marking the start of production of company"s first compact car in India, in Pune on Saturday, 12 December 2009. The factory can produce up to 110,000 cars a year, and will be used to manufacture the Skoda Fabia, Polo and a sedan to be launched in the second half of next year.
