Students celebrate after their success in the 10th Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exam at St Thomas School in New Delhi on Friday, 29 May 2009. Around 89 per cent of over eight lakh students cleared the examination; the passing rate of boys is 88.18 per cent while girls cross boys with 89.78 per cent. Students from Chennai perform better than any other region with a pass rate of 95.6 per cent.
