Devotees on their way to offer prayer to the Lord Sun on the occasion of ‘Chhat Pooja’ celebration at River Brahmaputra in Guwahati on Saturday, 24 October 2009. The annual Chhath pooja festival falls in Kartik month and the worshippers continues two day fasts and offer prayer to Setting and Rising Sun on third and fourth day respectively.
