Ajit Gulabchand, Chairman & Managing Director- HCC and Minister of PWD Dr. Vimaltai Mundada at a press conference to announce the inauguration of Bandra- Worli Sea Link by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi organized by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) and Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) in Mumbai on Monday, 29 June 2009. India’s first bridge to be constructed across the open sea, the Bandra- Worli Sea Link is also the country’s longest cable stayed bridge.
