Indian Hindu Devotees on the way to Bus Stand Kachuberia some 150 kms south of Kolkata, on the occasion of Makarsankranti festival in Kolkata on Thursday, 12 January 2012. Some three hundred thousand Hindu pilgrims gathered at the Gangasagar Mela (Fair) to take a dip in the Ocean at the confluence of the River Ganges and the Bay of Bengal.
