Krishak Mukti Sangram Samity (KMSS) General Secretary Akhil Gogoi was arrested by personnel of Assam Police from Guwahati Press club premise where he organized a press conference in Guwahati on Friday June 24, 2011.Including four non-bailable, have been registered against Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) & its leader Akhil Gogoi in connection with the violence at Dispur Last Gate on Wednesday who was responsible for leading a bloody agitation at Dispur on Wednesday June 22 in which three persons were killed and about 50 injured.
