People gathered at the Accident site where 29 passengers were killed and 8 injured when a bus carrying a marriage party fell into a rivulet at around midnight near Sorabori kali-Mandir in Hajo-Nalbari road in Kamrup district of Assam on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. The bus carrying around 40 passengers from Guwahati to Tihu, plunged into the rivulet when a "wooden" bridge, which it was crossing over, the groom has been identified as Naba Sharma of Betbari Lokhra area in Guwahati. The locals were upset with the late arrival of the National Disaster Rescue Force (NDRF).
