Wailing! son of slain religious leader and president Jamiat Ahli Hadith Maulana Showkat Ahmad Shah wailing outside where his father was declared brought dead. Maulana was killed when an IED went off when he was entering the masjid where he used to offer Friday Prayers and deliver the Friday sermon. Jamiat ahli hadith is a religious organisation that also runs welfare programmes for the poor in Kashmir. Moulana Showkat was associated with the moderate faction of the separatist Hurriyat Conference.
