Hindu activists hold "shankh" or sacred Hindu conch shell during a protest in New Delhi on Tuesday, 08 July 2008. against the revoking of the decision to transfer state land in Kashmir to a Hindu shrine, The Amarnath Shrine Board. The protest comes after the government of Indian administered Kashmir revoked the decision to hand over land to Hindu pilgrims after days of violent protests that left five dead and nearly 350 injured in the Himalayan state.
