Rumors were coming that Ashwin Naik may join politics after he visit Shivsena chief Bal Thackeray and MNS chief Raj Thackeray last week. Ashwin Naik was accused of killing his wife and Shivsena corporator Neeta Naik in 2003. However, Ashwin, who is alleged to have headed a gang formed by his brother Late Amar Naik, was recently absolved of all criminal cases pending against him in the city.
