Three girls children Rekha Kalindi, Afsana Khatun and Sunita Mahato from Purulia district of West Bengal have resisted early marriage in favour of further education. Child marriage is still rampant in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar.
