Train services in Kashmir resumed for the first time after the services were suspended at the peak of summer agitation in Srinagar on Thursday, 23 December 2010. Officials said they are restoring the service between Srinagar and Qazigund as the repairs are undergoing between Budgam and Baramulla. Northern Railways suspended the services after the mobs attacks its infrastructure all along its over 100 kms track.
