Civic authority workers inspect a road that caved at Vikas Marg in New Delhi on Friday, 24 September 2010. A portion of the road between Nirman Vihar and Shastri Vihar in New Delhi area caved in around 7 a.m which affected road traffic. Incessant rains, poor road engineering and maintenance by civic agencies and heavy vehicular traffic due to the Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010 construction are making Delhi roads crumble, creating huge craters in many places a media report said.
