Rapid Action Force (RAF) fired tear gas shell towards Kashmiri during a protest in Srinagar on Monday,16 August 2010. Thousands of armed police and paramilitary soldiers patrolled nearly deserted streets in Srinagar and other major towns and enforced a strict curfew in most of the Kashmir region Monday.
