Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi unveils the Assamese “Gamosa” autography by the NASA Astronaut presented to the people of Assam as a memento by NASA Astronaut Colonel Edward Michael Fincke, popularly known as Mike Fincke during a public felicitation function organized by Friends of Assam and Seven Sisters (FASS), at Pragjyoti ITA Centre for Performing Arts, Machkhowa in Guwahati on Wednesday, 02 September 2009. NASA Astronaut Colonel Michael Fincke, commander of the Expedition 18 mission and served two tours aboard the International Space Station, as a flight engineer and commander. Edward Michael Fincke affectionately called son-in-law of Assam by the people of this state for his marriage to Renita Saikia.
