In protest against the current joint naval exercises with the US Navy taking place in the Bay of Bengal. Twenty-seven ships and submarines from the United States, Australia, Japan and Singapore have joined seven from host India off the Andaman’s archipelago in the Bay of Bengal for six-day maneuvers in the international exercises, codenamed Malabar, which started on the 04 September.
