Boys carry his household goods as the flood water submerged agriculture fields and house in the Pobotora Village some 45 km away from Guwahati city on Thursday, 01 July 2010. More than 50,000 people have been affected and road communications disrupted in several parts of Assam and nearly 500 villages near the catchment areas of the Brahmaputra River have been inundated.
