People are buying the onion from Delhi government stall which is put in front of Delhi sec. in New Delhi on Wednesday,03 October 2007. Soaring onion prices is hitting the consumer hard as Delhi consumes around 7000 tons each day. Sheila Dixit government, which came to power riding on onion wave, has directed today the Mother Dairy to sell onion at Rs 22 per kg.
