Noted litterateur Mamoni Raisom Goswami presents Replica of Upendra Nath Brahma, known as Bodofa (Father of Bodo nationalist assertion) as a memento, as a part of 6th Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Soldier of Humanity Award for Year 09 to renowned litterateur and social activist Mahasweta Devi of West Bengal during a award function organized by Upendra Nath Brahma Trust at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati on S Saturday,22 August 2009. The award instituted by the Upendra Nath Brahma Trust, is named after Bodofa (Father of Bodo nationalist assertion) Upendra Nath Brahma is presented annually to a person who has an immense contribution towards the development of downtrodden people and humanism.
