Indian Kashmiri Hindus - known as "Kashmiri Pandits" protest against government failure to halt terror in the strife-torn valley during a Martyrs Day rally in New Delhi on Tuesday, 14 September 2010. The Pandits paid tribute to all Kashmiris who have become the target of terror during the 20- years of violence which has overwhelmed the Himalayan state and condemned the lack of action by both central and local governments in ignoring the displaced Pandit community. An estimated 2500 Pandits have been killed in the insurgency and most survivors fled to safer parts of India.
