Commonwealth Games Federation Chief Michael Fennell (3rd-R) and fellow delegates inspect Commonwealth Games Village 2010 in New Delhi on Thursday, 08 October 2009. Michael Fennell inspected venues and facilities as concerns mount over the city"s troubled preparations. A leaked letter from the Games chief last month warned the Indian capital that delays and poor planning posed a "serious risk" to one of the world"s biggest sporting events. One year remains until the Indian capital hosts the four-yearly games, featuring 71 teams from Commonwealth countries, to share concerns over the slow progress of preparations.
