Cartoonist Aseem Trivedi arrested with the charge of sedition for insulting national symbols through his cartoons by BKC police in Mumbai on Sunday, 09 September 2012. Trivedi is arrested on the basis of a private complaint filed by a lawyer in December last year that he had put up banners mocking the Indian Constitution during an Anna Hazare rally in Mumbai.
